Geoprocessing framework
The geoprocessing framework is the set of windows, menus, and dialog boxes in ArcGIS that you use to execute tools and create your own tools. The main parts of this framework are:
- The ArcToolbox window for navigating the collection of tools and opening them for execution.
- The tool dialog for executing a tool.
- The ModelBuilder window for chaining together sequences of tools.
- The Command Line window.
- The Add Script wizard for creating tools from scripts.
