This session will introduce the ArcGIS suite of developer technologies and illustrate the role of ArcGIS in a GIS implementation from a client, server, and database perspective. Gain insight into the software development toolkits and APIs, including .NET, Java, JavaScript, and Flex, as well as other ESRI resources. This knowledge will help developers get started building desktop applications, multiuser Web applications, and geodatabase and geoprocessing applications. This is a foundation session that provides context for other sessions in the presummit seminars and summit. Also available: 2008 DevSummit Proceedings and 2009 DevSummit Proceedings |
