This resource center provides unified access to Web-based Help, technical support, and developer community services for ArcGIS Engine. From this site, you can learn about using ArcGIS Engine to develop and deploy applications using Visual Basic, .NET, Java, and C++.

ArcGIS Engine is a complete library of embeddable ArcGIS developer components for building a wide range of custom desktop applications and for embedding GIS into almost any desktop application. ArcGIS Engine consists of a Software Developer Kit (SDK) used by developers and a redistributable runtime executable that enables the use of all ArcGIS Engine applications. ArcGIS Engine is supported on Windows, Solaris, and Linux (Intel).
