What is the Geodatabase Resource Center?
This site provides unified access to Web-based Help, online content, and technical support for the Geodatabase. At this site, you can learn about the architecture of the geodatabase, working with versioned data, how geodatabases are stored in a DBMS, and other capabilites of the geodatabase.
What is the Geodatabase?
The geodatabase provides the data storage and data management framework for ArcGIS. Each geodatabase is a collection of various geographic datasets that reside in a file system folder, a Microsoft® Access™ database, or a relational database management system such as Oracle®, Microsoft® SQL Server®, PostgreSQL®, Informix® or IBM® DB2.
