Exporting a model

About exporting a model

You can export a model to a graphic file or to a script file.

Exporting a model to a script

An easy way to start writing scripts is to export a model you have created to a script, then modify the exported script.

You can export to three different script formats:

The script can be shared via e-mail or over a network, and it can be added to a toolbox and run as any other tool.

From the Model menu in ModelBuilder, point to Export > To Script and click the export format.
