Common Operating Picture (COP)
ArcGIS server can be used to host Web map applications that provide a dynamic view of operations and activities across your area of interest. This operational dashboard for Emergency Management is called a COP. It can help users get answers to an array of key questions.
For example:
- Is the water height at this stream gage above flood stage and by how much?
- What is the current traffic flow and camera view?
- How can I view my field observations through this dashboard?
- What incidents are occurring and where?
- How does each affect critical infrastructure?
- Where are my public safety resources?
- What is the current weather?
