Emergency Management Maps
This template provides examples of typical emergency management maps. These maps are oriented for a particular scenario in Louisville, KY, but a significant amount of effort has gone into building these maps in a way that can be transferred to other situations.
The examples included here are:
- Incident Action Plan (IAP) with a cover page and multiple larger scale maps.
- A larger Briefing Map that provides an overview of the situation and the way that resources are deployed to manage an incident.
- A more general Hazard map that demonstrates how GIS can be used to assess risk and be used for analysis, planning and mitigation.
